From architectural interventions to designing the smallest details in the furniture.
The entire interior has been custom designed for this house in Amstelveen. The ground floor now has an open floor plan in which the kitchen is central. The only enclosed space is the children’s playroom. On the first floor, an extra bathroom and walk-in closet have been added for the master bedroom. The attic has been transformed into an office and guest house.

Natural materials and colours ensure balance.
In the entrance hall you are welcomed by a beautiful travertine wall, cut to size, which, together with the oak herringbone floor, accompanies you to the living room and kitchen. A dark kitchen has been chosen as a contrast for the light floor and walls. The use of marble (pietra brown) has been applied in the kitchen island and oak is reflected in the dark oak kitchen panels.

In the bathrooms and toilet all walls and floor are finished in a matt travertine. The large tiles are cut to size, so that no leftover pieces are created, which ensures peace and balance. The washbasins provide colour and material accents. Made of wood with white veined marble (statuario), this creates a subtle contrast with the travertine.
